The mission of the Student Support Team (SST) is to assist students, parents and teachers with services that foster a healthy and positive school community. SST strives to promote positive mental, emotional and social relationships in the school community by providing interventions, prevention, advocacy, and education and by strengthening community.  The goal of BDEA student support services is to alleviate as much as possible the personal, social, and emotional  challenges that are impediments to academic and personal success.

Beginning with Orientation, the SST becomes a vital part of students' educational, personal and social experience. Student support counselors follow a cohort of students along their journey to graduation. Communication, guidance, and interpersonal learning are emphasized for all our students.
