Rita Gehrenbeck-Shim
Rita began working as the Advancement Associate in 2017 after graduating with a B.A. in Sociology from Boston University. Her role situates itself within three departments: Development, Enrichment and Operations. Rita is passionate about the inclusive mission of BDEA, and hopes to incorporate similar practices in the future as a primary care physician. In her spare time, Rita enjoys dancing, biking, reading, writing and outdoor activities, and she teaches yoga in Jamaica Plain. Email
