Danny Rivera
Danny Rivera has over 18 years of experience working with non-profit organizations. Danny has spent the majority of his career serving children, youth and families of Boston in many different capacities. He currently serves as Senior Coach at Match Beyond, an innovative approach to higher education that empowers young adults and college non-completers to earn postsecondary degrees and leverages those degrees with career paths that generate livable wages. Prior to joining Match Beyond, Danny was the Lead Post-Secondary Transition Coach at the Boston Private Industry Council (PIC). During his time there, he provided college and career support to Boston Public School (BPS) graduates transitioning from high school to local two-year colleges in order to increase college retention and completion rates. Danny also played a key role in the implementation of a citywide initiative to improve college persistence and completion outcomes for BPS graduates called the Success Boston College Completion Initiative.
