Boston Day and Evening Academy

Becky Rebentisch is an artist and art educator. She graduated with a certificate in Illustration from Rhode Island School of Design and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Art Education.  She enjoys working with a variety of materials, but has a particular interest in textile arts.  She learned sewing, embroidery, and quilting as a child from her mother and grandmother, and participated in community 4-H programs and competitions.  She has 30+ years of experience in using sewing techniques in clothing construction and other applications.  She has shared her love of making things by hand in the community by creating after-school programs and summer art programs, and is excited to teach sewing at BDEA.
